The moisture management scale in here is the most useful page in the library for one particular decision: whether your problem is load or water.

Three positions on it. H2Ri actively wicks water out sideways and away. RS380i and RS580i give passive drainage, balancing moisture across the section and preventing capillary breaks. Geogrid provides none: it is a reinforcement product and does nothing about water at all.

That last one is worth saying plainly, because geogrid gets specified for soft subgrade almost by reflex, and a subgrade that is soft because it is wet is not a problem geogrid solves. It will carry the construction traffic and the water will still be there.

If you are frost-susceptible, or the subgrade tests strong dry and unusable wet, that is the case for the wicking product rather than more stone or more grid.
