System overview for temporary walls built from wire-form baskets and geogrid, as an alternative to soldier piles or sheet piling on staged construction.
The argument here is about equipment, not performance. A temporary wall built from soldier piles or sheet piling needs heavy lifting and pile driving, and needs toe penetration below the excavation. This system is baskets, grid and fill, built with what is already on a earthworks site.
On staged construction, where the wall exists for one season and then gets buried or removed, that difference is usually the whole business case.
Note the UV-stabilized biaxial grid for the face. Temporary does not mean unexposed: the face is going to sit in sunlight for the duration, and standard grid is not specified for that. Substituting it because it is what is in the yard is the mistake this system invites.
