There is no equivalent to Tensar HX145. Its performance comes from rib geometry and junction structure that no other manufacturer reproduces, and Tensar's own data sheet states its identification properties cannot be used to compare geogrids. Road Fabrics is a direct Tensar source and stocks Tensar HX145 in 12.5' rolls in Carol Stream.
Replaces Tensar TX140. That product is out of production. Specifications still calling for it can be filled with HX145, which we stock.
Why there is no equivalent
Geogrid performance is not a property you can read off a data sheet. Tensar's own Product Identification Data Sheet for this product states that its identification properties are for quality assurance only, that they should not be evaluated in isolation, and that comparing geogrids requires full-scale trafficking data of the kind described in AASHTO R50.
That is the whole answer to the equivalency question. Two geogrids with matching rib pitch and aperture shape can behave differently under load, so a substitution cannot be justified on the numbers below. They identify the product; they do not rank it.
